Over the years Industrial Exhibitions has built extraordinary trust and rapport with the on-site teams with whom we collaborate. They are keen to share their experience with you. Here’s what they have to say:
The exhibition was excellent. Most of our technical employees and some from neighbouring
companies came to the event and found it useful. It gave us the opportunity to put a face to a name
with existing suppliers, to discuss current challenges and understand new offerings they have. We
also had a number of new exhibitors to site which has potentially opened up some new
opportunities for us.
I would like to thank Industrial Exhibitions Ltd for a very professionally run event. Aside from
selecting the exhibitors, there was very little organisation I had to do. The Industrial Exhibitions team
efficiently and effectively organised and ran the event.
Chief Engineer - Dow Corning Ltd
Sellafield Ltd has used the services of Industrial Exhibitions Ltd for 5 years now.
From my point of view, Industrial Exhibitions have arranged the two annual CE&I exhibitions: the first
is a CE&I design based exhibition every November. The second is a CE&I maintenance based
exhibition at Sellafield.
Both series (ie all 10 of them) have been extremely well organised. I have been required to do very
little organisation for them as Industrial Exhibitions does it all.
All have been very well 'focused' on what we want our engineers to know, the right exhibitors, the right
associated technical lectures and all the logistics flawlessly executed.
Attendance has been good to excellent at these, showing a genuine interest on the site.
I can thoroughly recommend Industrial Exhibitions as the organiser of on-site exhibitions, conference
Process Instruments Capabilities Group Lead - Sellafield
The mission of the Decommissioning Directorate at Sellafield is to eliminate the risk and hazard
associated with legacy nuclear materials stored in aging facilities across the Sellafield
site. Fulfilling this mission requires specialized equipment and techniques. Similar work is
being done in a number of countries around the world and the equipment and techniques
are continually evolving. It is important that the personnel at Sellafield are knowledgeable
of the most current technology. To help us do that, Industrial Exhibitions organizes a
specialized exposition at Sellafield each year to bring us into contact with companies that
provide products and services that are of particular interest to us. I became closely
involved with Peter Baxendale and his team during the preparation for Decom 2012
because both he and I were keen that the exposition should provide maximum usefulness
for the Sellafield decommissioning community. That desire was realized well beyond my
expectations. Industrial Exhibitions themselves arranged a wide variety of
vendors/exhibitors who provide products and services of interest. In addition, within
Sellafield we canvassed the Decommissioning organization to determine what additional
technologies and vendors we wanted to learn about. Using that information Industrial
Exhibitions was proactive in contacting the vendors and arranging for them to
participate. The result was a Decom 2012 that was twice as extensive as in prior years and
that featured many companies who hadn't participated before. For the first time it also
featured an outside exhibit, which consisted of a specialized piece of mobile equipment
that the manufacturer drove to Sellafield from Germany specifically for the exhibition.
The exposition was very well attended by Decommissioning personnel, and the feedback was
uniformly positive. The exposition established many new relationships between vendors
and Sellafield personnel that will be valuable for both. I can enthusiastically recommend
Peter Baxendale and his Industrial Exhibitions team.
Former Deputy Decommissioning Director - Sellafield
Industrial Exhibitions delivered an Electrical Control and Instrumentation exhibition at AWE on 10th October 2007.
They were very professional in establishing our requirements and defining them in a brief. The company maintained liaison throughout the development phase to ensure this brief was met.
All these meetings were customer focused with the aim to exceed our expectations.
Conducting an exhibition at a secure site is a challenging task and Industrial Exhibitions managed and coordinated security issues to allow all exhibitors to attend.
During the exhibition Industrial Exhibitions were very helpful, organised and professional and resolved many teething unplanned issues without any delay.
After the event the customer feedback was very positive with many recommendations for
them to exhibit again due the success of the event. Overall this has been one of the
most successful exhibitions held in recent times at AWE and I would have no hesitation
in recommending them to conduct another event in the future.
